I had tried a different kind first. it was sort of a rubbery material and it did almost nothing to control litter scatter. Fed up, I tried this kind which has a sort of raised fuzzy texture (like a velcro strip) and ever since there's hardly any litter on my laundry room floor! I'm so happy to stop stepping all over those hard litter pebbles!
