Im actually going to buy another as a gift its so wonderful. The tie binding is perfect and easy For adding more pages or loosening as the pages become full and the book gets thick. The main reason I bought this book is to begin a journal of my herbalism . Which does include pressed leaves from my garden as well as their uses and tea recipes. The outside is an extremely beautiful leather, the clasping is unique, and the parchment inside is decent quality. My only major critique is that there is a lining around some page edges (it's only on the front side of every page, and the back is completely blank).
