A: From the Nowfoods website-the Gelatin Capsule contains.... collagen derived from the skin, white connective tissues and bones of beef and pork.

A: Before you order, call your Dr. with the information on the product from the Amazon website. My mother in law had most of her pancreas removed so her Dr. has her taking these daily. Each person is different, but this is an enzyme replacement for her pancreas. I hope this answers your questions, please make sure you get the details to your Dr. to make sure it is what you need. I will also say that purchasing it on Amazon has saved her $ as the vitamin stores are a lot more money. Best to you!

**Q: Why the source of pancreatic enzymes are not stated, is there any porcine driven ingredients or all bovine, ovine? You must manufacture non-porcine**
A: Carol, Many people have issues with gout, a purine driven illness.  Pork is rich in purines.  Perhaps you are only concerned for your needs, but gout is a debilitating disease for those who have it.  It is a real concern for others, and could become one for you over time.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great symptom reliever if you have problems with certain foods

I've put off getting enzymes for a few years now and finally ordered some. I have some from another company that are several times stronger than these from NOW, but wanted a less potent version for my lighter meals and snacks and these are perfect for that. They are probably potent enough for many people eating full sized meals but I err on the side of caution. It's a pure product with only the enzymes listed in it and because it's a capsule there is no taste to worry about. They do not bother me in the least in anyway and definitely do away with the symptoms I was having from eating various foods of late, such as wheat, heavy fats, carbs, etc. The older I've gotten the more foods were bothering me. If you have any symptoms after eating I'd suggest trying these. They're inexpensive and you can always increase the dose if it seems like you need to. I take right before I eat. I forgot one meal last week and took them after I ate and it didn't work nearly as good so remember to take them just before you eat. I notice some people just take daily and not necessarily before meals but I don't do that. It's working great as I'm taking them. I won't let myself run out because it's nice to be symptom free and eat mostly what I want.
