He cannot get enough of it!! Always knows where he puts it. At 4 a.m., he gets up with my husband and brings it to him to throw and catch. When done, the cat stashes it under a bedroom door and then demands its return later when he wants to play again. As it turns out, this is the best fishing pole attachment we've ever purchased. The realistic look is even better in person, and the toy feels solidly constructed and not easy to rip apart. Most importantly, our cats are anxiously attracted to it. This toy holds their attention for much longer periods of time when compared to other toys we've purchased. I have a 2 year-old cat and a 10-month kitten. The cat usually holds back during the kitten's playtime, but they both went wild over this thing. Something about the smell and texture really appealed to them. The kitten, on first catching it, buried her nose in it and snuffed THOROUGHLY. The cat, on first catching it, held it down and carefully bit it allll over. They both loved the heck out of it. Which, unfortunately, meant it didn't last through a week. My 2 year-old cat is a big, strong girl (Russian Blue), so maybe with other cats the toy will last longer. But even the kitten ripped some of the pieces off.
