Very lightweight so it is easy to carry around. I have a more heavy duty tripod for a video camera but this tripod is just right for go pros and filming sports training indoors. It doesn't take up much space. At first, I was worried about the height of the tripod fully extended because it doesn't get very tall, but with a go pro and a much wider sphere of coverage, it was perfect. Additionally, I inquired about the free gift mentioned in the description and it is an email book that you get. Amazon is supposed to send it after purchase, but I didn't get it yet and I contacted the seller and they immediately sent it to me. Great customer service.
