One of the coolest pieces of wall art you can have. Pictures hardly do it justice - seeing the incredibly complex, microscopic features of the photolithography process and the way it shifts colors in different light and angles is amazing. Highly recommended for any tech people in your life.I put mine in a 16x20 shadow box with a 10mm printed spacer, secured with VHB tape. I was a little nervous that it would arrive shattered into pieces being so fragile and thin, but that was not the case thankfully.You can immediately tell it’s the real deal by its light weight and it feeling cold to the touch due to silicon’s high thermal conductivity. Based on the die sizes and irregular patterns, I am guessing they are DRAM or flash memory chips, but I haven’t put it under the microscope to see further.
