There's a decent amount of large ones in there, so that's a big plus. But the small ones aren't bad, at least not for what I used them for. They did have a weird smell- not necessarily bad, im guessing something from cleaning/maybe sterilizing them, or packaging? Not sure, but it went away after they aired out for a couple days. They've held up very well and haven't split or frayed. But the ink just absolutely blackens anything it touches. It washed out of my shirt (but I washed it right away, so not sure how easily it comes out if it sits a bit), and my hands required a really good scrubbing.
