Review: Good cutting power for stainless steel for the price - I bought this to drill a hole in 20 gauge stainless steel. It cut great. This may not be the longest lasting bit, but pro bits for this type of cutting are over 4 times the price. I needed to make one hole, and it did it surprisingly well and fast. Since others noted that the pilot bit can snap, I drilled the pilot hole with a separate bit. That took awhile. But when I switched to using this for the large hole, it cut fast. Make sure to use cutting oil, and go slow. I could easily see the shards and honestly it felt like I was cutting aluminum.
