To make my life easier, though, I decided to use patch panels that use double-ended keystone jacks, rather than a more traditional punchdown setup. That's where the Rapink RJ45 Coupler Keystone Jack Cat7 (12 Pcs) makes an appearance.The Raplink couple jacks seem to be solidly built. I'd imagine that the metal housing provides some kind of shielding or grounding. I do like that the jack indicates that the coupler is rated for (up to) Cat 7, as I'm assuming that I may have to renovate again, at some point in the future. I haven't put my Fluke on this, but I run error-free 10GB through these couplers, so they appear to be operating as intended. At around $2 apiece, the price seems fair for what you get.
