Does this device detect laser devices used by active mobile speed camera vans? Not interested in the database. Thank you** A: No it does not, it only gives warning of most used locations that police radar vehicles use and other fixed static sites, like motorways, traffic lights, average speed camera locations etc. This will definitely not pick up any laser hand held or vehicle used devices by police forces. You will need to purchase a active laser detector device which is illegal to use in the UK ( To the best of my knowledge. ) **Q: Does it detect mobile speed cameras?** A: Don't think it picks it up when there but it tells you the places that mobile cameras may be lurking.
