You could pick up a set of five earrings like this I feel like at any costume jewelry establishment for 3 to $5.That being said they are very cute. They didn't come on a cardboard they came in a little plastic bag. They definitely are not hypoallergenic. You can tell that the gold coating isn't real which is to be expected with the price, so if you have a nickel or copper allergy do what I did to be safe, clean them with alcohol as you should anytime you purchase earrings, let them dry, and then seal them with two coats of a clear nail polish. If you've never done that before do it first to ensure that it won't irritate your ears even more. I have super sensitive ears and this has always worked for me.The earrings are very teeny tiny. I do like that, however as you can see by my picture the Pearl Earring is about the size of a pinhead or a pen. Some people who have stretched earring holes or maybe even thicker earlobes might not be able to use that one. The smaller star is very tiny and reminds me of an earring like the pearl that would be used in a baby's ear piercings. The length is normal but they are just teeny tiny.These earrings would look really good in a second or third ear hole piercing, or an upper piercing. I used the Saturn and the tiny star as earrings for several days and when people did notice them they like them very much. I will get a lot of use out of these but just take caution to the fact that you should seal them before putting them in your ears. And you also are not going to have anybody notice them if you wear your hair down. I didn't have high expectations only because they're so reasonably priced, but everything about this company and product is cute start to finish. First, they came in a cute little box with a crafted paper flower stuck on top and a woven drawstring pouch. Secondly, the backs of the earrings (earring stoppers?) were kept separate and the earrings themselves were packaged nicely so that nothing got smushed in delivery. They're little things, but they get noticed. When you order a lot of stuff online you get used to things arriving damaged or having just been thrown in a box to roll around. I was really pleasantly surprised when I received these. The earrings came in a cute brown box, with a cute foam rose on the lid. Inside was an adorable white sack pouch, a little extra surprise, something I will defiantly use to keep my loose jewellery in.
