The flow meter, bypass assembly and adapter setup is very annoying. The fittings are wobbly and a bit loose even when tightened all the way. They don't leak, just feel flimsy. The whole assembly sticks way far out the back so I had to mount the tank far away from the wall to allow room for pipes. The 1" NPT adapter is made of plastic. To get 1" pipe threads to not leak, you need a lot of tape and to stand on it with a pipe wrench. I made it work but was terrified I was going to break it. Also wish the brine tank had a flat top so I could pile junk on top of it, like my old one.
