I do believe it will last a long time. My daughter asked for an owl with braids for Christmas so I ended up making yarn braids to add to it so it’s also super good if you want to make accessories for it as well! There were no weird smells at all which was great! Also it was in a water proof plastic wrap so I didn’t have to worry about it getting damaged during shipping!
