It’s very sturdy. The one thing lacking is the hardware (spin nuts). Make sure you use loctite. Otherwise a good back rest. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Only for stock seats or low-pro aftermarket ones *by S***H on Reviewed in the United States on 23 September 2022* I bought this back rest for my 2016 XL883N so I would have a little extra support when I'm riding. I have a SADDELMAN "Touring" (if you can call it that on a sportster) on my bike and when I went to check fitment before installing the back rest, it wouldn't fit. The seat I have installed is too tall and wouldn't allow me to attach the backrest to the mounts due to its profile and height between the driver and passenger. If the backrest mounting brackets were about 3" taller it would have fit with my current seat.Conclusion- This seemed to be a well-made product. The material on the backrest itself seemed a bit cheap but you could always have it reupholstered if you wanted. The brackets seemed sturdy enough.
