I own a pair of low ankle Salomon’s and love them but wanted to see if something high ankle would help . So I tried them on and laced them up and immediately could tell they would be supportive. Went hiking ( I’d say I’m intermediated ) and got lost lol and ended up doing 6.5 miles in my new boots. My feet were not sore at all and no blisters ! I’ve been caught in storms , mud and walked through creeks not one drop of water on my socks. They are super good quality. I can’t push my thumbs into the sole of the shoe (which is a problem when you can do this, and it happens with a lot of hiking boots, when you’re going on Granite rocks).
