**Q: would these work to deter armadillos from plant beds?**
A: Do not have armadillos in michigan

**Q: Has anyone tried using these on the posts of birdhouse to keep raccoons from climbing up? The coons keep killing my baby bluebirds and wrens!**
A: These are very pointy but won't deter a raccoon, try looking for the metal spikes instead

**Q: Would they deter Squirrels jumping from roof into birdfeeders**
A: No they will jump right over them.

**Q: Will these work for the squirrels in my planters?**
A: Squirrels have straddled the spikes on the fence but eventually gave up. As for plants, they may find a way around them. Cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, or chili powder are effective deterrents and will not hurt the plants.
