Seeing that I knew they would be loud. After mounting them I fired it up and they do bark at idle, you rap on it and it has a great deep throaty sound. However on my Ultra Glide at highway speed it not that noticeable. You can hear it but it's not annoying. Not deafening, or drown out the music. Makes your bike sound like a Harley should. I'll be needing another set for my EVO Roadking and I will go with these. They are way better sounding than the Vance and Hines pipes they replaced. Maybe it because of their bigger diameter 4.5 inches round that gives it the good sound. Heavy and seem to be good quality. Review: Easy install, buy the clamps, pre-spray lube - 2014 FLHX 103 Fits perfectly no leaks , sounds great! Not too loud with a perfect Harley rumble. Pre-spray old pipes with penetrating oil after removing old clamp where connection meets. Clean this area after removal with rubbing alcohol.
