He was big enough I wanted to side carry, but that really wasn't comfortable with the Moby style wrap. I quickly switched to using this exclusively. He falls asleep in it when tired, and has enough freedom to not get bored in it when he's awake. I still use this with my now toddler.It's also far more convenient than a wrap. Just pick baby up, throw it over both your heads, and adjust. As a bonus, when he falls asleep in it I can lay him down in the wrap without waking him (not in his crib, as I need to place him on the floor before I slide out of it, but in the couch if someone will be sitting with him or on a blanket on the floor.).I tried a front carry with a two month old, and wasn't happy with this sling for that use. His chin kept touching his chest, so I was constantly adjusting him.When purchasing I was afraid that it might be too small, since I am a plus sized woman, but I find that it fits quite comfortably.It can get a little uncomfortable after prolonged wearing, especially if your little one has a favorite side. I have worn it for over four hours before, and my back felt worse than my shoulder, so it's not that uncomfortable.If you have a wiggly baby you'll have to tighten it periodically, but it adjusts very easily. For safety I check that he's secure fairly regularly, but I've never had the bottom slip at all when he's properly seated.Also, I was hoping to be able to do a back carry with this, and the wrap says you can, but cautions to only use it with a "cooperative baby" because it isn't very secure. I'm not comfortable with that, and may need to switch to a different style when my son is older, but for now I am very happy.I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a baby who sits up. I take mine everywhere and use it daily. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works for my dog! *by L***T on Reviewed in the United States on October 5, 2015* I've only had this for about 5 minutes but so far I love it! And he didn't seem to mind being in it at all. I bought this to take hiking so I could pick him up when the path is dangerous, slippery wet, muddy, to use just for a few minutes here and there. But I can also see using it when we're in really heavy crowds to more easily navigate and keep him from being stepped on. For reference, he's a short/long 14.5 pound dog. This is a great alternative to the much more expensive and mostly smaller pet slings. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ best sling I've ever used *by L***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 4, 2013* I've bought multiple slings and baby carriers, including the Moby Wrap and a Seven Slings sling and a few more... this ring sling is easily the best baby carrier I own. It's the most compact, has the most padding in the shoulder (where you need it!!), and is the easiest to adjust. With other slings and wraps you have to take them off and put them back on, a lot of times--with this one, you just adjust the ring.I used this sling with my first baby, all the way up until he was 2 years old and 28 lbs and I was 8 months pregnant. Now I use it with my brand new baby. We love it. I have two Lite-on-Shoulder ring slings now, one in Fern Batik (great because bright yellow baby poo doesn't show up on it) and one in Tangled, which I love because it is so pretty and matches most of the things I wear. I definitely recommend this sling, 100%.
