Review: Great Product! - My mother has an 18 foot oval above ground pool. The pool is maybe 4.5 feet deep. After opening the pool this season, we noticed the factory pump housing was cracked at the debris basket area, and was leaking. It also was held together with a ratchet strap. I was looking for a replacement electric pump that would work. Local pool stores were quoting me 400 to 500 dollars for a replacement. I found this Vevor 1.5 HP pump on desertcart. For the price, I am thoroughly impressed. The build quality on the pump is great. The pump operates with out a hitch and is super quiet to run. This Vevor pump actually works better and is more powerful than the Hayward pump I replaced it with. For approximately 120 dollars, you can’t go wrong!

It installed, and it’s quite. It uses different couplings than any of the brand name units it’s replacing, but for a fraction of the cost, it’s worth it. I will see how long this thing last befote I commit to 5 stars.
