Hawkins instructions/recipe book has a Sterilization method applicable to my aluminum 5 liter with exceptions in: How to cook in it, releasing pressure, separator cooking, cleaning/care, and adopting recipes. I would recommend to find documentation for use of the 8 liter from the manufacturer Hawkins. It’s a different experience for each person and product type. **Q: The safety plug blew out of the lid. Can this be replaced, or must I throw the whole thing away?** A: You can replace safety valve. **Q: What's the difference between classic the blue label one?** A: I looked in the comparison of products on Amazon.
