However keep in mind that a cable machine is not necessarily designed for speed training and therefore it might be better to exchange the original rubber band instead. I replaced it with an entire band set, which I ordered from Amazon as well (~$20). This allows me a large range of resistance variation but keeps the speed component. In addition it is easier on your joins compared to a cable machine and you have more space to move around. A machine limits your available space quite a bit.
