Had it been inspected before it went out, my disappointment could have been avoided.About this chair: It's a beautiful, sturdy and comfortable chair and fits nicely just about anywhere. However, assembly instructions were rather poor, and if you're not mechanically inclined it can be a daunting task and frustrating. For a little patience and elbow grease you get a very nice chair. You can't go wrong on the price for a chair of this quality. I have decided to buy another one to make a set for my office, after receiving many compliments on the one (despite the stain) I am still looking for a safe product that will remove it.
