**Q: Can anyone comment on if they think these will hold a 22 ft canoe?**
A: Yes, but you'd need a canoe add-on that would hold it better.

**Q: Is it me or are these really easy to steal?  Anyone figure out a solution to make them more difficult for crooks?**
A: Instead of using the standard hook style bolt that's provided, you can purchase and use a torx head bolt of the same thread, thus making them harder to steal.
However, that also makes them harder to adjust as well.

**Q: Have you used this on the 2013 Ford Explorer?  They are too short to fit across the car.  Please help!!!**
A: Hello!  Unfortunately, I have not had the chance to install them yet.  I have a 2012 Explorer, so I'm wondering if the size is any different than the 2013. I will be very disappointed if they do not fit as they are specifically geared towards Ford per the title.

**Q: Will these fit a 2017 ford explorer xlt**
A: That, I am not sure, it appears that the overall dimensions of the 2012 and 2017 Explorers are the same, give or take an inch.  There isn't anything stating, whether the racks on the roof have the same tracking.  That really would determine the fit.  I know for the 2012, I am quite satisfied with it.
