Highly recommended!!! *by I***A on June 30, 2017* This flashlight works great.First I was very surprised by the long range of the light beam, it is incredible the distance from where I can light.I love the zoom function with which you can control the size of the light beam.It has a very tough and hard body that I assure you will resist to the strongest blow, unlike other flashlight I bought that are plastic, this is aluminum, in short, resistant and very light weight at the same time, which Is a good combination.The fact that it is resistant to water makes it perfect for use in the forest, especially in the rainforest of Costa Rica where I live.This is simply one of these products that you will never complain about. Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Bright light, terrible interface *by R***D on September 4, 2017* The beam is precisely what I wanted (one star). Very bright, and with an adjustable zoom (one star). Came with a AAA adapter so I was able to test it immediately before my 6000mAh 18650 rechargeable batteries arrived (one star). Metal with solid feel (one star). I saw the exact same flashlight, different branding, in fancy packaging at a nation-wide bed & bath store for twice the price (one star).Didn't come with instructions (minus one star). I was able to find the instructions for the retail store version online, so I figured out how to cycle the modes (the seller was no help in answering my question; minus one star). You click to turn it on/off, but gently push in to cycle the modes while it's on. However, I can't get it to stay in a mode I select. After selecting a mode, turning it off (by pressing all the way down) doesn't hold the mode. The next time I turn it on, it switches to the next mode, so actually, for me, it doesn't appear to "have model [sic] memory when you turn it off." (minus one star)I know, it's only ten bucks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice compact zoom LED flashlight at a reasonable price. *by B***H on August 12, 2017* A nice LED flashlight at a reasonable price. Works fine on three AAA alkaline cells.The recommended $15 rechargeable battery and $26 charger don't make much sense to me for a $10 flashlight.Zoom feature works well. In max zoom the light pattern is roughly square, the shape of the LED but doesn't affect the performance of the flashlight.As received, there was a bit of dirt on the back side of the lens. I unscrewed the lens housing and found that the O-ring had been damaged during assembly do it's not so water-resistant.
