How does the new 422C version compare?** A: Works the same and was cheaper, package included 2 brushes for applying it. **Q: Will this make a flexible coating for headphone wires?** A: No, this product is for water proofing components on a board that is not exposed to regular handling or significant flexing. You need to look at heat shrink tubing or brush on insulation. Heat shrink tubing is probably the best choice depending on what you're trying to do. **Q: Can you use this on an led light over an aquarium? is it toxic after it cures? how long does it last? do you have to keep reapplying it?** A: I wouldn't put it in an aquarium's water just to be safe, but if trying to stop short circuits in a wet environment- that is what it does if applied correctly and completely covering circuitry, connections etc. Water doesn't seem to degrade an application by itself, physical wear from handling can happen, but it is very durable otherwise and not needing re-coating. Use UV light to see if coverage is complete as it Floreses blue/green so can inspect. **Q: can i paint this on a motherboard to resurface if i scratched the green coating that covers a board?** A: It will cover it to prevent any shorts, yes. It is conformal coating.
