Its super lightweight and folds up into a handy bag. The fold lines lay flat when in use and are easy to reuse when folding back up. It's easy to sweep off and dries pretty quickly. It stays down in a light breeze, so we haven't had to use the included stakes, yet. I imagine the plastic-like material would do fine if you had to stow it wet when leaving, just take it out later to dry. Last time out, we got a rocky site. The mat helped for walking around on the pokey rocks, but it did get a few dents in it. Colors are pleasing, but nothing special. Have not had to use the stakes yet, but they look to be sturdy enough as long as the ground isn't too hard. First use was over a sandy camping spot, and I was able to shake most of the dust and pine needles off as I was folding it up.
