S. Didn't intend for them to be used for more than 11 hrs. Ended up using them over a 3 day period for 2 dogs. So, after 12 hrs stuck in the kernel the first day, using it as a bed after our flight was delayed an additional 3 days, and then again for 16+ hrs of traveling (considering it included 4 transfers, with multiple hours of layover in between), tons of spilt water, typhoon rain, pee, an onset of sudden UTI from my more nervous dog (hence the pink in the padding), and anxiety riddled scratching from two dogs i can honestly say, this product was perfect. Despite all the water and pee involved, the dogs came out at the end of it dry and not smelling of pee at all. The surface of the mat eventually wore through but never beyond the middle padding layer and still felt dry to the touch even with it being worn through the surface. My only complaint is that the largest size did not cover the kennel floor of my bigger dog's kennel, and thus i had to double up to make sure the floor was completely ccovered. Highly recommended for anyone traveling long distances with their pets.
