I really like that they lights are white and not the RGB style. There are many functions available with this keyboard but I haven't delved into much of that just yet. I am working in the medical coding field, I do a lot of typing, and a lot of 10 key. I am making less typos on this keyboard and it has a satisfying sound/feel to it when I really get going on an email and punch a lot of words out quickly. Really like that there are legs on this keyboard. My son, a gamer who didn't have good things to say about brown switches, likes this keyboard and can't help but spam type words on it when he walks by. This keyboard brings a little dash of fun and edge to the workday and makes it more enjoyable. Totally happy with my purchase! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ i-Rocks basic keyboard has a sturdy, backlit, Red Cherry keys w. good key touch w. other features *by D***D on July 30, 2025* Solid base, 4mm key stroke, key click is clear, not loud, Red Cherry springs; sufficient white backlight around the keys and letters. Weighted base helps. Not cheap, but anything less is worthless, and my other heavy-duty keyboard cost twice as much. Letter sizing is a bit small but is still bright enough. Substantial keyboard cable is embedded in the keyboard to USB-A plug. Better than a removable cable, in my view. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This keyboard surprised me. *by C***R on August 15, 2021* Well, this was a little shocker. I grabbed two of these, one for a friend and one for myself. I was building a new system and wanted a new keyboard with white backlighting. My old keyboard had Cherry MX Brown switches and so does this, but what's surprising is how different they feel. I'm not sure exactly what the reasoning is, but I actually prefer the feel of them on this i-rocks keyboard. What really sold me on this board, besides the price, was the metal exterior and "floating" keys. While the keyboard doesn't have a braided cable or any additional USB ports, I really don't care about the omission of those features. The keyboard looks and feels excellent, with plenty of lighting settings that I didn't expect it to have until messing with it. Maybe it's the aluminum panel with the open "floating" keys layout, but this one also seems a little quieter than my last Cherry MX Brown loaded keyboard. Another perk of it not having a ton of extra features is that it's got a sleek and small footprint for a full-size board. Definitely a plus in my book. The only thing I wish it had, but isn't too important these days, is some sort of factory included wrist-rest. I use a large mouse/keyboard mat that has a rest built in, but I used to always use a keyboard with a wrist-rest, so if I ever change from using this large mat, I would have to see what else to do. Regardless, that's not a big deal...
