I needed to control the speed of a drum winding up wire. I used it on a 12Vdc 5 rom motor and it worked out great. It does forward and reverse and can be turned off by the switch or by turning the potentiometer to zero where it clicks off. If you turn it all the down it does still draw a very small amount of current fyi. It’s pretty decent for its small size. It doesn’t come with instructions but you won’t need them. I think for the price it’s a good value.
