I decided to take a chance on the reviews and description provided here. Glad I took a chance! I bought this mainly because it has an all-aluminum shell and fits within the strict "Air France" carry-on size guidelines for Europe. It's slimmer than most carry-on luggage sold. The seller also provides a great warranty. The craftsmanship looks excellent, with well-done rivets and a tight, secure rubber seal between the halves, making it likely very water-tight when closed. Setting the code for the side latches was easy, and though they're plastic, they feel durable. The handles, also plastic, feel sturdy and have a nice soft-close feature. I'll update on its durability after using it, but I'm confident it'll handle future journeys well. It arrived well-packed in its manufacturer box within a large Amazon box, with additional protection in a clear cover that can be used during storage or when in use.
