Talked to the company that resodded my backyard with the zoysia three years ago, a local nursery that specializes in the numerous types of sod we use here in south central Texas, and a couple of on-line Internet zoysia growers/sellers. The consensus was zoysia responds better to a liquid fertilizer than a dry granular fertilizers since zoysia supposedly gets more nutrients through its leaves than its roots. Simple Lawn Solutions came the closest to the recommended ratios so I bought my first gallon a few weeks ago. I applied it with my hose end sprayer two weeks ago and wow just wow! Nothing has greened up my zoysia like this liquid. Already have another gallon set back for later.
