Plays a slide show from my pictures off the the USB. BUT.. it will not recognize any of the Movies I put on the thumb drive or SD card. Which is one reason I bought this player. I formatted the USB and SD card the way the instruction said and still not recognized. I'd send it back but I do like the fact that it was inexpensive and plays DVDs well. At least so far. I was expecting better screen resolution quality. Guess I didn't read the fine print in the description well.
