I would not. The solution removes protein and dirt from your lenses. It is a cleaner not an eye drop. If you need something to assist in the dryness of your eyes the safest thing would be an artificial tear solution. **Q: How often do you have to switch out the solution in your contact case?** A: I always use fresh solution every time I have my contacts in the case. So I take my contacts out every night, put them in the solution, and in the morning that solution is discarded. I would never recommend using the same solution unless you are storing your contacts long-term without wearing them--and even then I'd likely change it out every few days. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Essential for Contact Lens Wearers—A Must-Have Solution *by on Reviewed in the United States 28 November 2024* Biotrue Contact Lens Solution has truly become an essential part of my daily routine, and I can't recommend it highly enough to fellow contact lens wearers. It effortlessly removes dirt and protein buildup, leaving my lenses crystal clear. This ensures a consistently clear vision, contributing to an enhanced overall experience.Long-Lasting Hydration:Biotrue's claim of providing up to 20 hours of moisture is not an exaggeration. Based on my personal experience and supported by a laboratory study, this solution indeed keeps lenses hydrated throughout the day. This is especially beneficial for those who, like me, spend extended hours using digital devices, as Biotrue maintains comfort even during prolonged screen time.Naturally Inspired Features:What sets Biotrue apart is its commitment to drawing inspiration from nature. The formula, influenced by the biology of the eye, includes hyaluronan (HA), a moisturizer naturally found in tears. This natural approach not only contributes to long-lasting comfort but also aligns with the pH of healthy tears, ensuring a smooth and comfortable lens-wearing experience from the moment they are inserted.Multi-Purpose Solution:The versatility of Biotrue is another plus. It serves as an all-in-one solution for storing, cleaning, and disinfecting lenses when not in use. Additionally, it can be used to rinse lenses before wearing. I wear prescription contacts and cosplay contacts on the weekend, so maybe 2-3 days a week. Both are able to be cleansed and moisturized with these. You're able to purchase a large bottle of this solution at Walgreens and Walmart, but it's hard to take while traveling or storing at home. This is a good size for travel and storage, and lasts a long time. ## Frequently Bought Together - Biotrue Contact Solution, Multi-Purpose Lens Solution for Soft Lenses, Cleans, Disinfects, Removes Protein Build-Up, Dirt & Debris, Hydrates, Stores & Conditions Contacts, 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) - Biotrue Contact Solution, Multi-Purpose Solution with Lens Case, Cleans, Conditions, Hydrates, Disinfects, Removes Protein, Dirt & Debris, Contact Lens Cleaner & Storage, 2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1) - Biotrue Contact Lens Solution, Multi-Purpose Solution for Soft Contact Lenses, Lens Case Included, 10 FL OZ (Pack of 2) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.kw/products/449670788-biotrue-multi-purpose-contact-lens-solution-4-fl-oz-1](https://www.desertcart.com.kw/products/449670788-biotrue-multi-purpose-contact-lens-solution-4-fl-oz-1) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kuwait* *Store origin: KW* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
