They even withstood the heat of the easy press for htv. These made great party favors as well as protected the kids clothing. Rather than the gray color in the picture, the aprons looked more like unbleached cotton canvas: a cream color with tiny brown specks throughout the weave. Even better than the gray for my tastes and needs.Well sized: This is the perfect size for a large toddler or small young child. I bough these for a birthday party for my 2 year old (who is in the 99th percentile for height) and his friends who are 2-7 years old. The neck strap is a little long for him but it is well sized through the body. The children are 3-5 years old and for the most part, I'd say the smocks tend to fit the older children better than the younger children. They seem to run just a tad bit, big, but nothing that a little creative tying can't fix. Our children wear these while painting and the smocks look very artsy with paint marks all over them. The smocks are a good quality, a bit heavier than what I would have expected in this price range, not easily wrinkled or prone to tear. When the time comes, and I do not suspect it will be any time soon, I plan to order more.
