The copper pieces I received were between 0.975 and 1.025 mm thick, and I would assume that other pieces would be similarly thick. If you mean "cut" as in "separate into multiple pieces by using a blade or something else," then no, it will not cut. If you mean "score" or "engrave," then yes, a Cricut with an engraving tip will work brilliantly, and I've done this with my Cricut Maker. Now, that said, I had to use a 3rd party software as Design Center...well...doesn't "like" thick copper (it only works with copper that's 40 gauge or thinner (0.08 mm, whereas this is again 1.00 mm.) **Q: Does this react to patinas? I am using this for jewelry making.** A: Yes. I use it in jewelry also. Heat from a torch can also cause some changes **Q: Is this thick enough to form a spoon out of?** A: No. Would be awfully thin and handle would not hold up. Needs to be atleast twice or more thicker. **Q: Can you cut these with scissors?** A: You could cut them with heavy duty scissors, but I use shears to cut them.
