It is true to the images posted.- The "PU leather" is very soft (see first "con").- The quality of the inserts is great. Heavyweight paper (feels to me like 28lb., but it's definitely at least 24lb.), and I LOVE that one of them has the chronodex on every righthand page!- the bead on the closure elastic is wood, not plastic.- the width of the cover will definitely accommodate additional inserts without all the pages "hanging out".Cons:- The inside of the PU leather is so artificial-feeling. I know it's a synthetic material, but I find that texture extremely off-putting. (I'm debating whether it's worth it to me to get some fusible webbing and try to line the cover with a piece of fabric.)- It's slightly taller than a standard size midori, and while I knew that prior to purchasing, I'm not sure if I like it.- as delivered, the closure elastic has already left indentatioms in the cover.All in all, for the price it's really good. If you like the photos, you'll like the notebook.
