**Q: Would this cage be good for transporting a cockatiel?**
A: Hello. Our 31999 cage model is not intended for use as a travel carrier. However, depending on the size of your cockatiel, we don't see why it couldn't be used for short term transport (ex: vet visit). This cage measures 12 3/4" diameter x 26"H with 1/2" wire spacing. We would recommend our 1307 Travel Carrier for more extended periods of short term travel (ex: road trip/flights). We hope this helps!
