No mounting instructions *by D***D on Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2017* Fast delivery. Everything in order. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that there were no instructions for mounting. We decided to use a wood screw through one side of the plastic mounting hook that came with it rather than the nail it came with and we made certain it went into a stud, so I'm confident it isn't going anywhere. It's very nice and my daughter is thrilled with her new Betta fish and his new home. The background picture is crisp and clear and is not removable. Something to keep in mind if you want to use this for something other than a fish bowl. I also should point out that the capacity is closer to a half gallon than a gallon -which is probably good for avoiding too much weight on the single mounting hook. We already had 3, one in each of our kids rooms but the one in my daughters had cracked on the top. We got this to replace it and it is a 1 gallon tank unlike a lot of the others but the only reason I don’t give this 5 stars is because we got them the little fish houses to go in their other ones and the opening on top of this one isn’t big enough to put that in there.
