The listing did not mention the density of the foam, but this king-size topper was listed as substantially heavier (at 23lbs.) than the other 2" king-size pads I had considered, so I gave it a shot.Foam density is measured in weight per cubic foot. I can confirm that the pad lives up to its advertised size of 76L x 80W x 2H inches which makes for just over 7 cubic feet of foam. The advertised weight was also pretty close to the listed 23 pounds, so this the density of this pad is a bit over 3lbs. This means that those other 2" king-size pads that claim to be 3lb density (or more!) yet list their shipping weight at about 14 pounds are simply lying to us.All the weights and measures aside, I purchased this topper to give a bit more squish to the top of our aging TempurPedic that has always been rather firm. This topper, combined with this simple mattress pad to keep in in place  Quilted Fleece Mattress Pad (King) - Mattress Cover Stretches up to 16 Inches Deep - Fleece Mattress Topper and Mattress Protector by Utopia Bedding  certainly softens things up a bit. However, we're finding the new combination to be rather warm, although that's not necessarily a bad thing since it's easy to adjust the amount of covers we use.My only minor negative comment was that the edges of the topper were discolored, as if they had been exposed to sunshine for too long, although this doesn't seem to have affected it's function, and we'll almost never actually see the pad again. At the time of my purchase, this item had the best price among reasonably dense memory foam mattress toppers available for Prime delivery. I feel like we got our money's worth, and probably more than we would have with many of the other toppers available at higher prices. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Took a chance on it, and it worked! *by R***J on Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2017* Seems like very high quality foam.
