It is perfect if you have a manual car because it goes right around the clutch, and it works very well on my 2013 Honda Civic around the brake pedal.It comes as two pieces, along with two keys (maybe three? I know two for sure.) I love it for how subtle and secure it is. It feels like real steel, as in it won't be broken easily. I like to think that in an emergency where I need to break a window, I could use it to easily break the window. All you do is slide the long piece over one of your pedals, and once its secure on it, you put the second piece on the jack, but right below the pedal. Then you use the key to lock it into place. I have never used a steering wheel jack but they always look so bulky and weird, so I'm happy to have an extra piece of security that is also subtle. After using a week, the lock jams. Lock keeps jamming. I was about to call lock-smith, I keep trying for about 6 minutes, finally I used the pliers to turn hard the key, then it opens.
