I recommended going by the measurements (including weight) as they seem accurate. I got the XXS for our 3 month old 2.5kg Toy Poodle puppy and it's a perfect fit. It's so easy to pop on and velcro up in a split second. She does not mind having it put on at all. She also does not mind wearing it at all. I know it's really comfortable for her as she pulls a lot more (keeping in mind that she's a puppy so is still learning). I feel like she's very safe in it including when she's set belted in the car. I only give it a 4 star cuz the color wasn’t what it looked like online. It looked like a pretty baby pink online. But when I got it it was a dirty pink, which I hate that color. But oh well.
