Some of the reviews was that it was thin or cheap looking but I found the overall thickness, texture and quality to be very good. It's not a heavy pile like a faux sheepskin but it's pleasant, soft and beautiful. I had a hard time imagining the material but it feels kind of like a soft felt with a bit more short plush on top.The champagne color I ordered was very beautiful with gentle colors of off white and tan-ish. It comes off as off-white. If you're looking for bright white this is not it.Not sure how durable. I bought this rug hoping that the short fur would be ok with my robo vacuum. The current faux fur sheepskin I had was too furry and my robovac would get stuck. So, hoping it vacuums and holds up well.
