Example 30 cells at 30mA will give you 900mA. The problem with knowing if they can be connected in series is that the specifications tell you what mA output is limited to, but not what the flow through current it can handle. So I took one and tested it to see how it would work. Connecting cells directly in series, + to -, to get a higher voltage doesn't work because this model cell acts as a resistive load to external voltage less than ~5 volts. Inputting 5.5v the cell only passes 6mA of current. I would look a different model with a higher current capacity to make solar panels. Hope this helps.
