In order to get this to work with a connect, or other module that lays flush against the back of the ninja V/V+/Ultra, you will need to replace the m3 screws with flatheads that sit flush with the exterior of the ssd enclosure.I used some 5mm length m3 flatheads that I had lying around and they worked fine, but make sure the flatheads are completely flush with the surface of the enclosure, as the tolerances are extremely tight. Depending on the module the short length of the ssd enclosure may cause some inconvenience, but for the connect the ssd enclosure is long enough that I can reach it (I don't think this is true for the cast, so you would need to remove it to access the drive.)Other than that slight inconvenience I have 4 of these and they have all worked flawlessly. The supplied screwdriver appears to be the incorrect size, so you will need a 1.5mm pentalobe bit/driver that you will find in something like an ifixit screwdriver set (or you can find a cheap set on amazon for under ten dollars.)While the initial setup is not "plug and play" the provided directions are clear and none of the steps are difficult. The additional thermal mass of the enclosure along with the thermal tape probably helps keep these modestly cooler than the plastic enclosure, although I haven't done any tests so YMMV. The finish, threading, and overall tolerances all seem to be superb.I highly recommend these along with the usb c adapter that is compatible with windows/mac and it has decent read speeds as well as matching the aesthetic. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sleek and sturdy *by A***R on February 23, 2025* Love it.
