The purpose of this is to remove to the top of a soft boiled egg so it could be scooped out of the shell. Don’t see this being used for hard boiled eggs. **Q: How do you use this and how do I access the ebook? Thanks.** A: I don't know about the ebook, but the "eggsecutor" is very easy to use. Either place the egg in an egg cup OR hold it in your hand, narrow end upward. Place & hold the egg topper firmly over the egg, then pull up on the [spring-loaded] ball & let it snap down on the egg. I find it works best to snap it twice - quickly, without moving it on the egg. Sometimes the top of the egg shell will come off with the topper, but is easily removed. I use it to crack raw eggs, too - no shell mess! **Q: Doesn't it seem odd that (at least among all I've read) no reviews are in English? I'd be interested to know why.** A: Thanks for the question!
