This product is thick and creamy as you would expect hollandaise sauce to be, but the flavor was a bit mild. I dressed it up with some fresh squeezed lemon juice, nutmeg, paprika and a little salt and that did the trick! Very good!

Excellent.  I was skeptical when other reviewers said it was better than normal mix and many restaurants, but oh yes, they were right.  This has an excellent flavor and just a touch of lemon in the taste.  Just perfect.And if you add more lemon - it really just complements the taste further rather than overwhelming it. I've made Hollandaise from scratch before, and if - and that's a big IF - you do it just right, it's better than this mix, but you're talking 1 out of 10 times...maybe (at least for me).This is about as close to perfect homemade Hollandaise as you can get in a mix.  That it's gluten-free is just a bonus.

Even being a user-friendly packaged Hollandaise user, I could not use this product.My recommendation: Only buy this product if you intend it as a gag "gift" for someone you know that likes Hollandaise.Normally we donate unused products to charity, but .  .  .
