I know that everyone's body is different, but these fit on the tight side, so be sure to order up a size!!!! I originally ordered the S/M (sizes 4 - 6) because I usually wear a size 4 dress pant and can get away with a medium in leggings, but these felt painted on, although not uncomfortably tight. I am 5'7" and tend to order high rise pants when I can find them. At my height, the leggings sit just above the ankle bone like you see in the model pictured for this product.I returned the S/M for the next size (sizes 8 - 12) up, which gave me more room, but not as much as I would have expected. If you put these on and stand straight, the material in the front (towards your stomach) fits higher than your backside. In other words, if you like leggings that fit a little on the snug side and need more room in the stomach area than in the caboose, then these are for you. I am hoping that these leggings stretch out over time.Benefits of these leggings: extremely soft material and not see-through. I was worried about buying them online because sometimes the sizing is small but that wasn't a problem with these. The material feels like the fabric American Eagle uses for their shirts. They're the most comfy leggings I own.I'm 5'4, weigh about 145lbs with pretty thick thighs. I usually buy a size 6 in jeans, so I bought a small and they fit perfectly. They're tight but not in an uncomfortable way and are the correct length.
