But, I believe they were meant to be. Look closely at order picture, they are bent there. They are bent in opposite directions. Maybe this is to go around a round head, from the left and the right. Don't know. I also got an oil tube and a very sturdy metal comb. The case also is sturdy. So I am giving a good rating review. Hope I feel the same after actually cutting some hair.
