We found it to be very stable without shake or twist. And the fasteners never loosened on our 2000 mile road trip. No noise or rattle. We loaded it with aprox 125lbs. A BIG PLUS-when not using it it folds up. We believe it's a good choice for the price. All my stuff stayed dry and protected. The bag secures tightly to the rack and then at your destination you can unstrap it and carry the bag inside. The rack itself is well made and seems sturdy. All hardware and such is included. All I needed was my pickup and the hitch receiver everything else was in the box.
