The foundation of this bed is solid. There is no movement and once my twins jump into bed with us, they are all over the place. There is enough height to the headboard that I can put euro pillows and king shams and it still looks elegant. The headboard was perfect! 2-3 small loose threads but that’s normal and such an easy fix! The color is beautiful in person and it’s very sturdy. It took about 2 hours to unbox everything and put it together. I did have to use a drill for the wooden slats so you will need a drill. It seriously looks like a $1000 bed!
